Last year, I contacted Nada to enquire about the possibility of having a painting commissioned. We bounced around a few ideas as to how to honour my two chidren, as well the several babies I have lost through miscarriages. We came up with the idea of a family of stars, which became the painting "For a moment or forever - always with me".
Nada was very respectful and open to discussing ideas - from the image itself, to the colours and the general mood. I will always be grateful to her for this painting.
I have several paintings from Nada at home, but this one is special. It is beautiful - as are all her paintings - but it seems to be coming alive at night as the lake shimmers when lamps are on, as though the moon was really reflecting into it. It truly looks magical.
